Former Notre Dame 5-star commit could transfer in, will visit today

As we reported earlier, former Notre Dame 5-star commit Keon Keeley was entering the transfer portal.

There clearly was a natural fit between the two, and it looks like they’re going to see if the flame is still there. Tom Loy of 247Sports is reporting that the Alabama transfer will be visiting South Bend starting later today.

Keeley signed with the Crimson Tide out of high school and saw the field in two seasons, registering 16-tackles and three sacks, all coming this past fall. He still has plenty of potential to be an elite pass rusher from multiple positions.

It could be a full-circle moment for Notre Dame and Keeley, as we’ll all be waiting to see what transpires between the two over the coming days.
