Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Nyier Daniels has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Daniels' decision to transfer comes as no surprise. He was arrested on 13 charges following Georgia's win over the Charlotte 49ers in November and was later dismissed from the team.
Daniels has a lot of talent. He is former four-star recruit from Oradell, New Jersey, and played high school football for Bergen Catholic. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound offensive lineman has elite size. Daniels appeared in four games during his Georgia career and will have three years of eligibility left.

Since Daniels was dismissed from the team, Georgia was obviously not counting on him for the 2026 college football season. However, it is disappointing that Daniels was arrested for a driving incident along with the other additional charges. His arrest was a distraction for the team in the middle of the season. Daniels should have numerous suitors in the transfer portal.
