A former Clemson football player is back in the transfer portal for the second time in as many seasons.

Noble Johnson, who left Clemson after the 2024 season for Arizona State, announced he was entering the portal again on Tuesday. A three-star recruit from Rockwall High School in Texas in the recruiting class of 2023, Johnson saw action in only two games this past season at Arizona State. He did not record a catch.

A 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver, Johnson spent two seasons at Clemson from 2023-24 and saw action in 13 games. He recorded three catches for 16 yards with the Tigers in 2024 before transferring.

Clemson has had a busy stretch in the transfer portal thus far. Thirteen former players to date have entered the portal while the Tigers have added six, including defensive lineman Kourtney Kelly (West Georgia) and safety Corey Myrick (Southern Miss) on Wednesday.
