Former Alabama safety King Mack has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal for the third time in his career, per 247Sports' Chris Hummer.
Mack joined the Tide for the 2024 season after spending his freshman year at Penn State, but Mack ultimately decided to return to the Nittany Lions following the conclusion of the 2024 campaign.

The junior defensive back compiled 26 solo tackles and one interception throughout 2025, and the Tide could potentially emerge as a top destination for Mack and a number of other key defensive players that have officially entered the portal. Alabama is expected to pursue a wide variety of playmakers on both sides of the football, and Mack could potentially emerge as a target for the Crimson Tide.
Mack had 14 tackles in the Alabama secondary during his time in Tuscaloosa. The Florida native was a coveted prospect coming out of high school, and Mack will more than likely be tasked with a crucial role in 2026 regardless of the program he choses to sign with. The transfer portal is officially open as of Jan. 2, and the Tide are expected to be extremely active on the market in the near future.
