It is no secret that Michigan State's offensive line play in recent memory has not been up to snuff, and new head coach Pat Fitzgerald is going to have to make it a priority to influx more talent into the trenches. With the transfer portal window opening on Jan. 2, the first offensive lineman lined up to visit Michigan State has been made known.

Trent Fraley, a North Dakota State transfer was named as an FCS All-American. At 6'1" and 305 pounds, he will be a center at the next level.

Fraley comes with a strong pedigree, being the son of Hank Fraley, who has been a coach with the Detroit Lions since 2018, coaching offensive lineman in some capacity or another, while adding a run game coordinator tag in 2025.

Playing in over 1,700 career snaps, Fraley has only allowed one sack in 825 pass-blocking snaps. PFF graded him as a 71.8 overall player, while being a 85.6 pass blocker and a 68.7 run blocker.

Starting his career at Marshall, he is expected to have one year of eligibility remaining.

A report from On3's Pete Nakos revealed that Fraley is planning to visit Florida State, Iowa State and Penn State, along with Michigan State. No dates have been released yet.
