The Atlanta Falcons will close out the 2025 NFL season at home against their biggest division rivals. Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints has playoff implications in the NFC, just not for the Falcons. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night and now both teams sit at 8-9.
If the Falcons can defeat the Saints, they will finish in a three-way division tie, with the tie-breaker going to the Panthers. If New Orleans wins, the Buccaneers would clinch their fifth straight division title.

So, which team will win Sunday's finale? Check out our Falcons Wire staff picks for Week 18 below:
Deen Worley (6-10)
The Falcons have been on a tear as of late, winning their last three games. They have a chance to play for a three-way tie for first place with a win over the Saints. However, they will be the third team in this potential tie-breaker and won't reap the benefits of the playoffs. With that said, I think the Falcons will take care of business in Sunday's finale and complete their season sweep of the Saints. | Falcons 24, Saints 13.
Matt Urben (8-8)
While I wouldn't be surprised if the Falcons close out the season with their fourth straight victory, the Saints cannot be overlooked. New Orleans has found something in rookie quarterback Tyler Shough. Meanwhile, Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins reportedly woke up sick this morning. Keeping that in mind, I think the Saints will escape with a three-point win to close out the 2025 NFL season. | Falcons 21, Saints 24.
Sunday's game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. Follow along with our Week 18 live blog.
