The Atlanta Falcons will close out the 2025 NFL season this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, then it's on to free agency. Several key players are set to hit the open market, and the team lacks enough salary cap space to keep everybody.
NFL free agency officially kicks off on Wednesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. ET, so the Falcons still have plenty of time to free up cap space, and could potentially release quarterback Kirk Cousins once the season is over.

The Falcons are set to close out the season on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at home. Since Atlanta already traded its first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams, the team has nothing to lose by losing the season finale. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
