Former Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime had a breakout game with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, rushing for a career-high 94 yards on 14 carries with one touchdown. He also had a four-yard catch.

Estime (5-11, 227 pounds) was picked by the Broncos in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft out of Notre Dame. He rushed for 310 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie before being cut ahead of the 2025 season. Estime was quickly picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles, only to be cut two months later. After that, he landed in New Orleans.

Denver opted to go with J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin this summer, making Estime the odd man out in the backfield.

"The bottom line, we were just able to keep four [running backs]," Broncos general manager George Paton said in August. "It’s hard to keep more than that. We just wish him the best. He’s going to be a really good pro."

The 22-year-old running back now has 445 rushing yards and three scores on his resume.
