According to Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri expect the former Barcelona goalkeeper to return to the matchday squad for the Champions League clash against Arsenal.

Martinez is likely to take his place on the bench after missing recent fixtures.

The session concluded shortly before the squad’s departure, scheduled for around 17:00.

Cristian Chivu now waits for confirmation as Inter finalise plans for Europe following domestic commitments.

It is expected to be a decisive six months in his Inter career, with succession planning in process as veteran Yann Sommer approaches the end of his contract.
