ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has provided a suggestion relating to the injury status of Buffalo Bulls quarterback Josh Allen.
Ahead of the Bills (11-5) hosting the New York Jets (3-13) in Week 18, Allen's status is unclear because of a foot injury he has recently played through.

Despite some playoff seeding potentially on the line for the Bills, Schefter believes Allen is trending toward not playing on Sunday.
Schefter believes "it is now setting up" for Allen to rest instead of suiting up:
While Buffalo could jump up as high as the fifth-overall seed from their current No. 7 spot in Week 18 heading into the postseason, it might not be worth it to risk Allen. Without him, the playoffs won't go well for the Bills.
If the team decides to sit Allen, it will be backup Mitchell Trubisky under center.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates as information is made available.
