There's no point in beating around the bush, insulting your intelligence, or lying to you. Here's a confession. Talking about the Philadelphia Eagles every day consumes time.
That said, unless they're featured on FOX's Big Ten Game of the Week or something, it isn't very often that we watch the Nebraska Cornhuskers play football. Sure, we'll invest time into condensed highlights. We'll watch when they play Ohio State or Michigan, but if the choices come down to Netflix or the Cornhuskers, guess who's winning.

Ty Robinson short-circuited that. Philadelphia drafted him 111th overall during the 2025 NFL Draft. That made him a fourth-rounder. He has spent his entire rookie season fixated at the bottom of the Eagles' depth chart at the defensive tackle position.
So far this season, he has played 53 defensive snaps and another 29 on special teams, spanning ten games. He should see some extended playing time in Week 18 as the Eagles plan to rest their starters.
You know what? We can't wait. How can someone not be excited about a guy who has been dubbed the 'Vanilla Gorilla'?
Enjoy this extended look at Ty Robinson in Week 18.
Something good is about to happen. As much as we rag on the Eagles for substandard performances, one truth continues. This is a doggone good football team.

They're deep at certain positions, defensive tackle included. You want to know why Ty Robinson doesn't get any playing time? Try Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, and Byron Young on for size. Oh, and by the way, the Eagles convinced Brandon Graham to return from retirement, and they learned he can still be one of their best interior defensive linemen.
Robinson can ball, and he's got some admirable traits. He's six foot five. He's 288 pounds. He earned a Third-Team All-Big Ten nod in 2024. In 60 career games at the collegiate level, he notched 60 solo tackles and 134 stops in total.
He racked up 26.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, 12 pass breakups, and a forced fumble. Maybe we're alone, but we don't think we are. We're hoping for extended playing time to get an extended look at this young man on Sunday.
