The 2025 Miami Dolphins season ended exactly how is started, losing in blowout fashion. The New England Patriots cruised to the AFC's No. 2 seed by steamrolling the Dolphins, 38-10.

The Dolphins did not score in the entire second half, allowing New England to finish the game with 24 unanswered points.

The Dolphins turned the ball over twice, one on a fumble by running back Jaylen Wright and the other via a costly red zone interception thrown by quarterback Quinn Ewers. The Dolphins came away with points on just one of their three trips into the red zone.
