Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg didn't play at all in 2025 while dealing with an injury and he's not sure if he'll ever see the field again.
On Monday, the 27-year-old lineman told reporters that he suffered a leg injury during the team's offseason program. Eichenberg said that while he hopes to play again, he isn't sure he'll ever be able to do so.
David Furones of the Sun Sentinel noted that Eichenberg has lost weight since his last time on the field with the Dolphins.

Back in September, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that Eichenberg's injury is "of the chronic nature." The lineman was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list in July and he remained there through the entire season.
Eichenberg was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft and started 52 games in his first four NFL seasons. In March 2025, he was re-signed on a one-year deal.
