The Miami Dolphins brought in 16 players for tryouts Tuesday, but signed just one.
Defensive tackle Simeon Barrow, a rookie who played for the Miami Hurricanes in 2024, was added to the Dolphins' practice squad, the team announced. Barrow spent training camp and the start of the 2025 season with the Atlanta Falcons and spent much of the last couple months on the Cleveland Browns' practice squad.

In addition to Barrow, the Dolphins hosted the following players Tuesday:
WR Elijhah Badger
QB Jason Bean
DB Isaiah Bolden
DT Anthony Campbell
DE Seth Coleman
DE De'Shaan Dixon
QB Taylor Elgersma
DB Tyron Herring
DB LaMareon James
WR Dohnte Meyers
WR Kaden Prather
DE Jahvaree Ritzie
RB Jordan Waters
The majority of the players on the list, as well as Barrow, have never played in an NFL regular season game. The exceptions are Bolden, who played 14 games with the New England Patriots last year, and Dixon, who played in three games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022.
Meyers has a bit of professional experience after spending time with the Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. During the 2025 CFL season, he caught 65 passes for 1,056 yards and eight touchdowns.
