The Arizona Cardinals requested an interview with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver for their vacant head coaching job, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Weaver, 45, is also set to interview with the Atlanta Falcons and has interviewed for multiple head coaching vacancies in the last couple offseasons.

In his first season with the Dolphins in 2024, Weaver led a unit that finished No. 4 in yards allowed and No. 10 in points allowed. But after several changes on that side of the ball, Miami struggled to recreate that success in 2025 and fell to No. 24 in both yards and points allowed.
Prior to his time with the Dolphins, Weaver was defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans in 2020 and spent three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens where he was assistant head coach in his final two years.
Earlier this week, the Cardinals fired Jonathan Gannon after three seasons. He had a 15-36 record as the team's head coach and the team finished 3-14 during the 2025 season.
