The Los Angeles Dodgers are on track to be the first baseball dynasty in a while, and they seem like they have no intention of stopping making upgrades to their roster. In fact, they may have a move planned to break baseball once again.

According to Fansided’s Zachary Rotman, the Dodgers could be top candidates to sign two-time All-Star and the bane of their existence in the 2025 World Series, Bo Bichette. This would be a massive upgrade to their lineup, and a huge punch to the guy from the World Series rival, the Toronto Blue Jays.

“The Dodgers' lineup is as loaded as any, but that doesn't mean there isn't room to improve, and as we all know, the Dodgers stop at nothing when they see an opportunity to improve. Bo Bichette would make their insanely deep lineup just that much better…If you talk about soul-crushing moves the Dodgers can conceivably make, stealing Bo Bichette from the team that was the closest to beating them in last year's postseason is as demoralizing for the field as it gets,” Rotman wrote.
This past season, Bichette slashed .311/.357/.483/.840 with 44 doubles, 18 home runs, and 94 RBI in 139 games played. He would slot in at second over Tommy Edman, as he would be a massive offensive upgrade over him.

As for Edman, the Dodgers could push him to the outfield, solving the issue of the open spot next to Teoscar Hernandez and Andy Pages.
If the Dodgers pull this off, they will be, without a doubt, the best team in the MLB, and one of the best in MLB history. For Dodger fans, hopefully this happens. For MLB fans, hopefully not.
