The Detroit Pistons will be missing two starters — and a key reserve — over their next few games.
The team announced Sunday that Tobias Harris (left hip sprain) will be re-evaluated in two weeks, and Jalen Duren (right ankle sprain) will be re-evaluated in one week. Additionally, Caris LeVert (right knee inflammation) will miss the team's trip to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Sunday, Jan. 4 and is day-to-day afterward.

Harris exited their road win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday with the hip injury, and was ruled out of their following home game against the Miami Heat Friday. Duren was ruled out of Friday's game in the second half after spraining his ankle during the second quarter. LeVert missed both the Lakers and Heat games with his knee injury.

The Pistons (25-9 overall) will be shorthanded during a crucial stretch of the season. They've lost three of four games and will return home Monday after Sunday's 2 p.m. game in Cleveland to host the New York Knicks. The Chicago Bulls come to town on Wednesday, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday.
Harris has already missed 11 games this season due to his hip injury and ankle sprains. LeVert has missed eight games with knee issues, and Duren has missed three games.

"He’s doing okay. It’s just something that we’ve been managing all year,” Bickerstaff said on Friday of LeVert, who has dealt with knee soreness throughout the season. “We’ve tried to manage his practice time, his minutes, those types of things. But it was something that just flared up on him, and we’ll always be cautious of where our guys are and making sure they’re healthy first.”
