The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city where the Bucs found success this preseason with a last-second field goal to defeat the Steelers. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft.
The Draft Network's Jaime Eisner recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle. Within it, the Bucs were attached to LSU's Mansoor Delane. The Tiger defender transferred to the SEC and proved right away he deserved to be there, and all season long, he continued to boost his draft stock.

Eisner explains the pick, writing, "Though he could have been a Day 2 pick last year, Mansoor Delane returned to school, transferred to LSU, and played his way into the top-20 conversation. He’s the most complete cornerback in college football, frequently using his physicality and elite football IQ to shut down receivers. With Jamel Dean all but certain to leave as a 2026 free agent, Delane is the perfect candidate to instantly fill that starting spot in Tampa Bay's defense."
Delane, alongside the likes of Jacob Parrish and Benjamin Morrison from the 2025 class, would give the Bucs a fountain of youth at the position. They need someone of his size and range so Delane could complete the secondary for the Bucs in 2026 if drafted.
