Indianapolis Colts' defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo will have another head coaching interview.

According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the New York Giants have requested to interview Anarumo for their head coaching vacancy.

The Tennessee Titans have also requested to interview Anarumo as well.

Garafolo adds that Anarumo will interview with the Giants in the near future.

This doesn't come as a surprise. Last week, it was reported by ESPN that Anarumo was on the Giants' initial list of head coaching candidates.

Anarumo has previously interviewed with the Giants and has ties to the organization—having been the DBs coach in 2018—and to GM Joe Schoen.

In Anarumo's first season with the Colts, he's had to navigate numerous injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

The Indianapolis defense entered Week 18 ranked 19th in points per game allowed, third in yards per rush, and 19th in yards per pass attempt. The Colts have been one of the better teams at forcing takeaways as well.

Anarumo also has a strong track record from his time with the Bengals.

He runs a malleable and quick-to-adjust defensive scheme that adapts to what each opponent is doing and what his players do best. In part, that's how he earned the nickname the "Mad Scientist" during his time in Cincinnati.
