When Colorado hired Brennan Marion away from Sacramento State to be the Buffaloes' next offensive coordinator, I speculated who he'd take from his Hornet squad to Colorado.
While Damian Henderson II just missed the list, he should be a key contributor in Marion's "Go-Go" offense come August. Henderson spent just one year with Marion, appearing in all 12 games, typically in a reserve role, but making one start. In his season with Sacramento State, Henderson totaled 565 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 91 carries.

The height of his Hornet career came against Central Arkansas, where he sprinted for 137 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries. Henderson gathered the bulk of those yards on an 85-yard touchdown run, where he left every defender in the dust by the 50-yard line.
Before coming to Sacramento State, Henderson played two seasons at Colorado State, but never saw action in more than three games in a season. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound back comes to Boulder with two years of eligibility remaining.
