If five defensive line additions were enough, well, you are in luck because the Colorado Buffaloes just added another edge rusher to the mix.
Former James Madison EDGE/OLB Manny Ezeogu committed to the Buffs following his redshirt freshman season with the Dukes. Ezeogu played in all 14 games in 2025, posting 15 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack and one pass breakup.

Ezeogu, a Virginia native, was a zero-star recruit in the class of 2024, with his only offer coming from JMU. He looks like a situational pass rusher with room to develop into an every-down edge defender. His speed coming around the edge jumps off the film.
Deion Sanders and company have now added five prototypical defensive ends to bolster a nonexistent pass rush and hopefully bring more athleticism to a front four that looked stuck in mud for the entire 2025 season.
Ezeogu joins Toby Anene, Yamil Talib, Balansama Kamara and Lamont Lester Jr. as the five edge defenders to join the Buffs during the opening few days of the two-week transfer portal window.
