Can Ohio State win back-to-back national championships? That's the big question heading into the 2025-26 College Football Playoff.

The Buckeyes defeated Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and Notre Dame on their way to the 2024-25 title, winning each playoff game by at least 11 points. Ohio State won't have to worry about a first-round game in the latest edition of the bracket, but there will still be plenty of challengers standing in its way.
Once again, the College Football Playoff will feature a field of 12 talented teams battling for the trophy. The first round will begin on Dec. 19, and the CFP will conclude with the championship game on Jan. 19.
