2025-26 bowl game odds

Tuesday, December 30

Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl

  • Teams: Coastal Carolina vs. Louisiana Tech

  • Location: Independence Stadium, Shreveport, LA

  • Kick-off: 2:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

Asking this matchup to clear 51.5 points requires either defensive breakdowns into explosives or either QB grossly outperforming what they've done all season. You’re basically betting that two compromised offenses don’t suddenly become explosive at the same time. Under 51.5 fits the most likely game shape.

Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl

  • Teams: Tennessee vs. Illinois

  • Location: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN

  • Kick-off: 5:30 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

Tennessee was in the College Football Playoff last year, while Illinois has a chance to win nine or more games in consecutive seasons for the first time in program history.

In 134 years, finding a first is a notable moment. That alone should have engaged better focus from the Illini in the last few weeks.

Valero Alamo Bowl

  • Teams: USC vs. TCU

  • Location: Alamodome, San Antonio, TX

  • Kick-off: 9:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

The TCU Horned Frogs will pull off this upset and win the Alamo Bowl. It’s been a season to forget for Sonny Dykes, but this is still a talented team that is close to full strength for the bowl game. That provides an opportunity to build confidence heading into next season, and it starts in the Alamo Bowl against USC.

Wednesday, December 31

ReliaQuest Bowl

  • Teams: Iowa vs. Vanderbilt

  • Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL

  • Kick-off: 12:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

Vanderbilt has Diego Pavia, and that will be the key to victory. The Heisman runner-up will make enough plays in crunch time to lead the Commodores to the win.

Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl

  • Teams: Arizona State vs. Duke

  • Location: Sun Bowl, El Paso, TX

  • Kick-off: 2:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: CBS

Duke scored 34 points per game while ranking 14th in PFF’s overall offensive grade, so the Blue Devils should find the end zone against a depleted defense.

Meanwhile, Manny Diaz’s defense is a turnstile unit, allowing 6.1 yards per play. Despite featuring backup quarterback Jeff Sims, ASU should find offensive success against a porous unit that ranked 120th in EPA per play allowed before its two best players opted out.

Cheez-It Citrus Bowl

  • Teams: Michigan vs. Texas

  • Location: Camping World Stadium, Orlando, FL

  • Kick-off: 3:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ABC

The Sherrone Moore firing sent shockwaves through the college football world, but it appears the team has rallied behind interim coach Biff Poggi as the team only had three opt-outs before jumping on the plane to Orlando.

Texas is dealing with a massive amount of opt-outs, particularly on the defensive side of the football.

SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl

  • Teams: Nebraska vs. Utah

  • Location: Allegiant Stadium, Orlando, FL

  • Kick-off: 3:30 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

Even if Utah moves the ball efficiently, this feels like a possessions-and-efficiency game more than a track meet. The most likely path is long drives, fewer explosives, and a slower second half — the exact environment you want when betting the Under.

College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

  • Teams: Miami vs. Ohio State

  • Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

  • Kick-off: 7:30 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

The Miami Hurricanes enter this matchup with an 11-2 record and are coming off a defensively dominant 10-3 win over Texas A&M at Kyle Field in Round 1, where the Canes held the Aggies to just 4.3 yards per play. That defense will be the key to Miami's playoff hopes against the Ohio State Buckeyes in this Cotton Bowl Classic.

Thursday, January 1

College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl

  • Teams: Oregon vs. Texas Tech

  • Location: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL

  • Kick-off: 12:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

Texas Tech has beaten the spread by an average of 16.25 points per game with Morton starting in eight games against Power Four competition. The Red Raiders deserve more respect, and we just have not properly understood how to evaluate them yet.

College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl

  • Teams: Alabama vs. Indiana

  • Location: Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA

  • Kick-off: 4:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl

  • Teams: Mississippi vs. Georgia

  • Location: Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, LA

  • Kick-off: 8:00 p.m. ET

  • TV: ESPN

With star running back Kewan Lacy complementing Chambliss, the Rebels can be hard for anyone to slow down, especially with offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. staying with the team.

Georgia's still a very good team and has the edge in big-game coaching and experience. And while that could be the difference in who wins the Sugar Bowl outright, Mississippi will make the Bulldogs work for it and keep this game close.
