Clemson football has landed its second commitment from the NCAA transfer portal in as many days.

Former California Golden Bears linebacker Luke Ferrelli has committed to the Tigers, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Tuesday. Ferrelli's commitment comes one day after cornerback Elliot Washington committed to Dabo Swinney and the Tigers from Penn State.

As a freshman this past season, Ferrelli was named ACC Defensive Freshman of the Year after registering 91 tackles (38 solo), 5.0 tackles for loss, one sack and one interception in 2025. He was the Golden Bears' second leading tackler this past season and was tied for eighth in the ACC in total tackles.

A 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker out of Carlsbad, California, Ferrelli played in all 13 games for the Golden Bears. He recorded a season-high 10 tackles in Cal's 31-10 loss to Stanford on Nov. 22. Ferrelli made a game-clinching interception of Boston College quarterback Dylan Lonergan to preserve the Bears' 28-24 win over the Eagles on Sept. 27 in Chestnut Hill.

He was ranked a three-star prospect in the class of 2024.
