The Kansas City Chiefs' front office was busy on Tuesday, adding personnel to the practice squad heading into the final Sunday of the regular season. According to the NFL transactions log, the Chiefs have signed defensive players Kam Arnold and Marcus Harris to practice squad contracts.

Arnold, a rookie from Boston College, was an undrafted free agent signee originally with the Washington Commanders. He was waived at the end of the preseason, but will have another chance in the league with Tuesday's announcement. He converted from defensive back while in college, playing in 55 games over his five-year career.

Harris, a defensive lineman, was the Houston Texans' seventh-round selection in the 2024 draft, splitting his rookie season between the Texans' and the New England Patriots' practice squads and training camp with the Buffalo Bills in 2025. He began his college career at Kansas for two seasons before transferring to Auburn. He had 11 sacks in three years with the Tigers.

The Chiefs notably hosted Harris at their Monday tryout, improving his chances of joining the team. Kansas City's front office continues to add talent for the future, as the offseason will likely see some veterans depart.
