Chiefs seek a sweep of the Raiders in the 2025 regular season finale

The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders will play their final games of the 2025 regular season in Week 18. The breaks weren't in either team's favor as the league's two oldest head coaches prepare their teams for one game and an offseason of changes.

Kansas City dominated the Week 7 matchup at Arrowhead Stadium, shutting out Las Vegas 31-0 for one of the most lopsided games in either franchise's history. The game notably marked the return from suspension for wide receiver Rashee Rice, who finished with seven catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns.

"So I knew that they tried to get (Rice) a play in their special play down by the goal line or something like that. They're all good. Every one of those guys is good," said Raiders head coach Pete Carroll during his Week 7 postgame press conference, "Put Kelce in the middle of all that stuff, and it's a hard group to deal with. I would say I would think that teams facing them coming up better be ready. It's a very, very good-looking football team today."

The Raiders' 30 offensive plays in Week 7 were the second-fewest by a team in the Super Bowl Era. Kansas City allowed just 95 yards across 10 possessions. Kansas City became the first team to hold an opponent to three or fewer first downs in a regular-season game since 2008. The milestone has only happened five times since 2000
