Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke to reporters via Zoom recently, commenting on quarterback Patrick Mahomes' rehab approach while supporting teammates through the remainder of the regular season.
"Yeah, he's (Patrick Mahomes) around. So, he's in the building working and doing his rehab (and) spending a lot of hours doing it," said Reid, "He's really attacked that and will continue to do that. He's around and sees the guys, but most of his time is being spent rehabbing."

Mahomes was shown in attendance during the Christmas night loss to the Denver Broncos. Reid immediately shot down any chance he would make another appearance during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"Yeah, probably not. Not this soon, no," said Reid regarding Mahomes making the trip to Las Vegas.
The two-time league MVP was recently named as an alternate for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. He finished the 2025 season with 22 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 14 games before the knee injury. He also rushed for 422 yards and five touchdowns.
