Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke to reporters via Zoom on Monday, commenting on his outlook for a top-15 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and his job status as head coach.
"Yeah, with (General Manager) Brett (Veach) and his crew doing it, that part's exciting to see and what takes place," said Reid, "Something to look forward to. You're right, it's not where you want to be, but it is where we are, and we've got good people doing the picking, headed by Brett."

The Chiefs haven't missed the playoffs since 2014 and will have ample time to address roster needs during the offseason. Reid also discussed any rumors regarding his job status after Week 18.
"No. I think I'm coming back, right? If they'll have me back (chuckles), I'll come back," said Reid, "You never know in this business, so that's a tough one, but I plan on it, yeah."
Reid is the franchise's all-time winningest head coach, so it's doubtful he will be let go after a disappointing season.
