Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones spoke with reporters during his postgame press conference, expressing confidence that Travis Kelce is not ending his playing career.
"I'm not buying it, he'll be back next year," said Jones, "I can't promise you anything about another man. This was a tricky year for us. I have faith in my dawg coming back."

Kelce had only three catches for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, setting two more NFL records, becoming the fastest tight end to reach 13,000 receiving yards in NFL history, and tying him for the most consecutive seasons with at least 75 receptions in league history.
Jones entered Week 18 against the Raiders tied with Neil Smith for third place in career sacks in team history behind only Derrick Thomas and Tamba Hali. He now stands alone, but moved into 65th place in NFL history for his career with his two-sack performance.
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games-bound duo have been teammates since 2016, sharing plenty of championship success.
