Rashee Rice's career has taken another concerning turn. Dacoda Nichole Jones, Rice's ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children, posted images of bruises and wounds across her body, alleging she has been abused for years.
Jones' post does not name Rice, but she acknowledges her alleged abuser lives in Kansas and is the father of her children. A police report has yet to be filed in Kansas or Texas, where Jones currently lives, according to ESPN.

"I’m so tired of keeping quiet I’m so tired of protecting his image," Jones wrote. "I’ve been through too much in a span of 8 years and I’ve had ENOUGH! I’ve dealt with abuse for years, me and this man decided to break up a couple months ago and since then it’s been nothing but hell. ... I’ve protected his image too long and I’m done doing that. It’s time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself."
The Kansas City Chiefs acknowledged the allegations surrounding their star wide receiver with a statement late Wednesday night.
"The club is aware of the allegations on social media and is in communication with the National Football League," the Chiefs' statement read. "We have no further comment at this time."
Troubling past
Rice missed six games due to suspension this season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. The suspension came after Rice pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges for his involvement in a multicar crash back in 2024. The crash left several injured and Rice fled the scene before police arrived.

While Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years' probation, his case will be dismissed if he completes probation since he received deferred adjudication.
