Boston Celtics rookie Amari Williams notched his second triple-double in the G League on Wednesday, helping lead the Maine Celtics in a loss to the Noblesville Boom.
Williams finished with 12 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocked shots and one assist in the 123-122 loss at Portland Expo Building. He shot 6-of-10 from the field in nearly 31 minutes as the Celtics dropped to 1-4 in the regular season.

The 46th pick is now one of two players with multiple triple-doubles in the G League this season (Dillon Jones, Rip City Remix). He registered his first on Dec. 7, recording 10 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in a win over the College Park Skyhawks.
Williams, signed to a two-way contract, has played sparingly to begin the season with the Celtics, totaling 31 minutes across six games. However, Williams has earned praise from coach Joe Mazzulla for staying ready and contributing when called upon.
The 7-footer from England is averaging 11.5 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 blocks on 57.2% shooting from the field in 14 appearances with Maine. He ranks 10th in the G League in total rebounding, grabbing at least 10 in eight games this season.
