INDIANAPOLIS -- Cavaliers All-NBA guard Donovan Mitchell will miss Tuesday's game against the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for rest purposes according to the NBA's official injury report after starting 34 of Cleveland's first 37 games.

Mitchell has scored at least 30 points in each of his last three games and ranks fifth in the NBA this season with 29.8 points per game. He also ranks second on the Cavs in assists (5.4), first in steals (1.5) and fourth in rebounds (4.7).

Center Jarrett Allen (illness) and forward Dean Wade (left knee contusion) are questionable for the Cavs. Guard Max Strus (left foot surgery) and forward Larry Nance Jr. (right calf strain) have been out for extended periods and are still out.

Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin (right thumb sprain) and center Isaiah Jackson (concussion) have also been ruled out. Mathurin missed Sunday's game and Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said he expects Mathurin to be out "a while" but did not specify a length of time. Jackson has been out since Dec. 22 with his concussion. Carlisle said last week he is improving but did not provide a timetable for a return.

Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles tendon tear) is out for the season and forward Obi Toppin (right foot stress fracture) is out until at least February.

The Pacers enter Tuesday's game with a 12-game losing streak that matches the longest in franchise history. They have the worst record in the NBA at 6-30. The Cavs are eighth in the wide-open East at 20-17, but just one game back of fifth.
