The Carolina Panthers couldn't get the job done against the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday, but their playoff hopes remain very alive.
If the Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Panthers will win the NFC South. Even though the Buccaneers won Saturday's game, they'll still need the Saints to beat the Falcons to take the division.

Carolina sweeping Atlanta and getting a win over Tampa Bay earlier in the season has put them in position to win the division since the Panthers and Bucs finished the 2025 season with the same record.
Panthers fans will need the Falcons to do them a huge solid on Sunday, which shouldn't be that hard a prompt since it's the Saints. If the Falcons lose, the Panthers will miss the playoffs for yet another season.
We'll see what happens on Sunday in Atlanta as to who wins the NFC South.
