Several teams have showcased impressive defensive strength at this Africa Cup of Nations – CAN 2025. Here are the most unbreakable defenses from the opening round.

None of the 24 contenders managed to keep a perfect record, but five sides conceded just a single goal: Morocco, DR Congo, Egypt, Senegal, and Algeria.

Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Comoros each let in two goals, just one more than Ivory Coast and Angola, who both conceded three times.

The three sides that shipped the most goals were Gabon, Uganda, and Botswana—a trio that unsurprisingly crashed out after conceding seven goals in the opening stage.
