JACKSONVILLE ― Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward's season is over after he's been ruled out with a right shoulder injury in Week 18 against Jacksonville.
Ward ends his rookie season having started all 17 games, leading the team to three wins. He threw 15 touchdowns with seven interceptions and ran for two more touchdowns, including the one on which he injured his shoulder. He finishes his rookie season with 3,169 passing yards, a Titans franchise record among rookie passers.

After starting the season slow, Ward threw multiple touchdowns in each of his last four complete games, leading the Titans to wins over Cleveland and Kansas City during that stretch.
Looking at the season in totality, Ward finished among the league's worst quarterbacks statistically. He came into Week 18 ranked in the bottom three in the NFL in completion percentage, passer rating, yards per attempt and passing success rate.
The Titans drafted Ward with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, trying to capture the magic Ward spun in his college stops at Incarnate Ward, Washington State and Miami. Ward left Miami as the NCAA Division I's all-time leader in touchdown passes.
Without Ward, the Titans will turn to Brandon Allen for the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Jaguars.

The Titans head into the offseason with a coaching search ranking as the top priority. The Titans fired Brian Callahan, the coach who drafted Ward and helped design the offense he'd run in his rookie year, back in October.
