There was plenty of frustration for the Chicago Bears following their regular-season loss to the Detroit Lions, where the offense came out completely flat for three of game's four quarters. Despite the loss in Week 18, Chicago finished out their year by winning the NFC North for the first time since 2018 and earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs.
To his own credit, quarterback Caleb Williams set multiple franchise records for Chicago this season, including becoming the single-season passing leader (surpassing Erik Kramer's record in 1995), but the frustration was clear after the loss.

After the game, Williams said there's an opportunity to use the frustration in a positive way, turning it around to play better against the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
"Use this frustration," Williams said. "Obviously having two back-to-back losses. But use this frustration and find a way to get better. Find a way to put us -- it doesn't matter if we win the game by one next week or whatever the case may be, but find a way to give ourselves a way to win the game and do that."
It's quite revealing for the Bears and the identity of the team that individual records are not important to anyone on the roster, in comparison to team success. Williams had plenty of reason to be happy after setting franchise records and getting the No. 2 seed, but Ben Johnson has set a tone in the locker room that it is a team-first approach and they won't settle for mediocrity.
