The Cleveland Browns have placed yet another starting offensive lineman on season-ending Injured Reserve, ending the year for right guard Wyatt Teller. The Browns signed center Kingsley Eguakum off of the Detroit Lions' practice squad earlier today to fill the roster spot.
Teller now joins Dawand Jones, Ethan Pocic, and Jack Conklin as Week 1 starters along the offensive line to see their season end early. And for Teller (the other three as well), this could be the last we see of him in the brown and orange, as he is set for free agency at the start of the new league year.

Given how Teller's snaps were handled before the initial calf injury as well, the odds of him re-signing with the Browns feel low. The Browns had opted to rotate Teller in and out with free agent signing Teven Jenkins in the back half of the season. This indicates that a future between the two sides may no longer exist.
Teller has spent the last seven seasons with the Browns, joining the team in a trade with the Buffalo Bills in 2019. He has been selected to three Pro Bowls and has been named as a second-team All-Pro player twice during his tenure with the Browns.
