One of the few bright spots in yet another disaster of a season for the Cleveland Browns has been the historic season from pass rusher Myles Garrett. Heading into the final game of the season, he is sitting on 22 sacks. If he can get one more against a bad Cincinnati Bengals offensive line, he will break the single-season record of 22.5 held by both former New York Giants pass rusher Michael Strahan and current Pittsburgh Steeler TJ Watt.
As a result, it comes as no surprise that Garrett was voted the Browns Player of the Year for the third straight year by the local PFWA chapter. It was a unanimous decision for Garrett, who has taken his game to a whole other level this year after initially requesting a trade in the offseason, which led to a new contract.

Veteran left guard Joel Bitonio was voted the Dino Lucarelli "Good Guy Award" for the third straight year as well. This was the sixth time in Bitionio's career that he won this award. The award is given to the player based on their cooperation with the media and their conduct in the community.
