Browns announce flurry of moves ahead of NFL Week 18 game vs. Bengals

The Cleveland Browns are getting set to end their disappointing season tomorrow, and they are not doing it on a high note.

Ahead of their matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, the Browns have announced a flurry of moves. This announcement comes after it was revealed that two promising rookies, linebacker Carson Schwesinger and tight end Harold Fannin Jr., would miss this game and conclude their first year in the NFL.

With these two players being among the four who would not play, the Browns needed to fill out their roster again in order to field a full team in the last week of their season. Here are the moves the Browns announced as they get set to take on their in-state rivals:

  • Signed LB Edefuan Ulofoshio to the active roster from their practice squad

  • Placed LB Carson Schwesinger on Injured Reserve

  • Elevated TE Sal Cannella from the practice squad

  • Announced that OG Teven Jenkins has cleared the concussion protocol
