Brahim shines, leads Morocco to AFCON’s Round of 16

Real Madrid attacker Brahim Díaz scored his third goal of this edition of the Africa Cup of Nations during Morocco’s 3-0 victory over Zambia, a win which secured their presence in the Round of 16. Brahim has found the back of the net in the three games Morocco have played so far in the tournament, being the undisputed leader of his team on offense.

Morocco are the favorites to conquer the tournament, with other big stars like Achraf Hakimi or former Sevilla goalkeeper Bono playing a relevant role.

Brahim is performing at a very high level during the tournament as reports published in the Spanish press suggest that he reached an agreement with Real Madrid over a contract extension. Cadena SER reported last night that he will sign a new deal, one which would expire in the summer of 2030.
