Bold predictions for Steelers' Week 18 matchup vs. Ravens

1 week ago 2

Did anyone expect the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2025 season to end any other way?

In true poetic fashion, the AFC North champion will be crowned at the conclusion of this week’s Sunday Night Football, as the Steelers hope to hold off the Baltimore Ravens from usurping their divisional title and their subsequent spot in the playoffs.

To prepare for the exciting matchup, here’s a look at some of our bold predictions for this Sunday’s game, including a big performance from an underrated tight end and Pittsburgh finding a way to slow down the Ravens’ star running back.

Pat Freiermuth has huge game

With DK Metcalf suspended and Darnell Washington sidelined, expect Freiermuth to have a monster game against Baltimore — including at least 100 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Alex Highsmith records two-plus sacks

While T.J. Watt is expected to make his return, there’s no debating that Highsmith is playing some of his best football right now and should continue to do so this Sunday, recording at least two sacks on quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 18.

Derrick Henry held under 100 yards rushing

King Henry was full steam ahead in the Ravens’ Week 17 win over the Green Bay Packers, but the Steelers handled him well in their last meeting, allowing just 97 yards and a mediocre 3.8 yards per carry. With a playoff berth on the line, expect the Steelers to hold Henry under 100 yards once again en route to a Pittsburgh victory.
