Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the first time in his NFL career during the third quarter of the team's NFL Week 18 game against the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium.
Brown entered the game needing 53 rushing yards for his first 1,000-yard season. He finished the 2024 season with 990 rushing yards.

One day after the team's gut-wrenching 47-42 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 9, head coach Zac Taylor said he thought Brown was out of line with some of his postgame remarks, and didn't expect Brown to react the same way again.
"We put the ball in the end zone and go up a point at the end?" Brown told reporters after the game. "Finish the f---ing game. Like, just end it. That's it. That's what we need to do. Just end the f---ing game."
Brown missed several games with a hamstring injury during his rookie season. The former fifth-round pick from Illinois enjoyed a breakout game in the Bengals' overtime win against the Jaguars in Jacksonville in Dec. 2023.
The Bengals drafted Brown in the 2023 NFL draft with the 163rd overall pick. He played in 12 games as a rookie and 16 games in his second season with the team.
