The transfer portal will officially open on Friday and remain open through January 16. A large number of players from Michigan State made their plans of entering the transfer portal known on Wednesday.

Stewart is a redshirt freshman that didn't see any game action during his two year career with the Spartans. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Stewart was a three-star prospect in the 2024 class, originally hailing from Kelso, Wash. He ranked as the No. 80 offensive tackle in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports.
