Auburn football WR Eric Singleton declares for the NFL Draft

1 week ago 2

Auburn football wide receiver Eric Singleton has punched his ticket to the 2026 NFL Draft. His announcement came via his social media.

A massive transfer from Georgia Tech for the Tigers a year ago, Singleton played a total of three seasons in his collegiate. He spent two seasons with the Yellow Jackets recording over 700 yards in both seasons. This year with the Tigers he finished with 534 yards receiving on 57 receptions and three touchdowns. Singleton career totals were 2,002 yards receiving on 162 receptions and 12 receiving touchdowns.

Hugh Freeze's offense never seemed to fully unlock Singleton's potential at Auburn. The junior wide receiver had his lowest receiving and total yards at Auburn. Singleton did see a uptick after the Freeze firing and offensive coordinator Derrick Nix took over play calling. Against Vanderbilt, he hauled in 11 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown

Preseason CBS Sports ranked him a top-10 receiver in the 2026 draft. Singleton's draft stock could rise in the coming months at the NFL Combine with a chance to showcase his speed and route running ability.
