Power rankings (week of Dec. 22-27)

1. Green Bay Notre Dame (6-3)

The Tritons rebounded from a loss to Hartford on Dec. 20 with an 88-22 win over Waukesha North/South. It was the second time in three games the Tritons topped the 80-point mark and the most points they have scored since putting up 103 against Green Bay Southwest in February.

2. Kewaunee (5-2)

The Storm extended its season-high winning streak to four with a 65-61 win over Menasha.

It remains one of two teams, along with Algoma, undefeated in Packerland Conference play.

3. De Pere (7-2)

Went 2-0 for the second straight week with nonconference victories over Mequon Homestead and Slinger, including scoring a season-high 86 points against the Owls.

Last week’s ranking: 3.

4. Bay Port (7-3)

Bounced back from a loss to De Pere on Dec. 19 with a 67-44 win over Pulaski, the first of two straight games against the Red Raiders. The teams meet in Pulaski on Jan. 2.

The Pirates have won four straight in the series.

5. Crivitz (7-0)

The Wolverines had wins on back-to-back days against Iron Mountain (Michigan) and Menominee (Michigan).

The 57-55 victory over the Maroons was the first time this season that Crivitz won by fewer than 10 points.

6. Lena (8-0)

The Wildcats did not have a game last week, a well-earned break for a team beating opponents by more than 34 points a contest.

Last week’s ranking: 6.

7. Denmark (8-1)

The Vikings were off the entire Christmas week. They entered this week 4-1 against winning teams in 2025-26.

8. Shawano (6-3)

The Hawks did not have a game last week as they prepared for four straight Bay Conference games.

9. Seymour (5-3)

The Thunder beat Ashwaubenon 44-30 for its second straight win over a Fox River Classic Conference team after beating Green Bay Preble by 12 points Dec. 18.

Last week’s ranking: 9.

10. Green Bay Preble (4-4)

The Hornets had off last week but were set for three contests this week, including back-to-back games at the Green Bay Preble Holiday Tournament.

Last week’s ranking: 10.

Players of the week

Aspen Abel, Green Bay Notre Dame

The senior guard had 13 points, 6 assists and 5 steals against Waukesha North/South. She shot 5-for-9 overall and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.

Abel ranks second on the Tritons in scoring (12 ppg), first in assists (4.6 apg) and second in steals (1.6 spg).

She entered this week shooting 55.8% from 3 (24-for-43) and an even more ridiculous 64.7% (22-for-34) since shooting 2-for-9 in a season-opening loss to Pewaukee.

Brianna Bray, Luxemburg-Casco

Scored a career-high 23 points in a 45-27 win over Algoma. It was the second time this season and in the last four games she topped the 20-point mark.

Jade Kroll, Kewaunee

The senior guard led the Storm to a 65-61 win over Menasha, finishing with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals while shooting 9-for-14 overall and 4-for-8 from 3.

Marli Meyers, Crivitz

Had 11 points and 18 rebounds against Iron Mountain and 17 points and 13 rebounds against Menominee.

The sophomore forward leads the Marinette & Oconto Conference with 12.7 rebounds per game and is third with 1.0 blocks a contest.

Jada Nelson, Green Bay East

The junior guard had 12 points and 12 rebounds in 38 minutes in a loss to Mishicot.

Natalie Rudnick, Seymour

The freshman did not shoot well in a win over Ashwaubenon, but she still led the Thunder with 20 points while adding 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Kailynn Thompson, Bay Port

The sophomore center had a career-high 30 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and shot 12-for-14 in a 67-44 win over Pulaski.
