Army football had a pair of players named to the Associated Press All-Bowl Team, from postseason games played outside of the College Football Playoff.
Senior offensive lineman Will Jeffcoat and freshman running back Godspower Nwawuihe were highlighted following their efforts in Army's 41-16 victory over Connecticut in the Fenway Bowl on Dec. 27.

Nwawuihe became a viral sensation with his touchdown runs of 43 and 70 yards, breaking a host of UConn would-be tacklers on the latter. He posted 171 yards on just 12 carries, or 14.3 yards per rush. He was named the Fenway Bowl's offensive player of the game.
