The practice squad for the Arizona Cardinals is down to only 14 players. With an international exemption, NFL teams can have up to 17 players on their practice squad, but the Cardinals cannot right now.
Why?

They are at the 90-player limit (91 with the exemption) allowed by the league to carry between the active roster, practice squad and reserve lists. They currently have 53 players on the active roster and 24 between injured reserve and the non-football injury reserve.
That leaves only 13 regular practice quad slots, plus the international exemption.
The Cardinals, when they placed cornerback Kei'Trel Clark on injured reserve and signed tight end Rivaldo Fairweather, had to cut one player. That was tight end Messiah Swinson, who was on the practice squad.
Here is the full practice squad roster for the final week of the season for the Cardinals.

After this week, the Cardinals will be able to sign these practice squad players to futures contracts for 2026.
