Alabama guard Labaron Philon Jr. has officially been named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 list.
Philon has been nothing short of elite throughout the first half of the 2025 season. The star guard is currently averaging 21.5 points and 5.4 assists per game on 53.6% shooting, as Philon has been a complete difference maker for the Tide this season. The dynamic sharpshooter was originally projected to be a lottery pick in last years' NBA draft, but the guard ultimately made the decision to return to Tuscaloosa for his sophomore season and has thrived as a result.

A Mobile, Alabama native, Philon is currently shooting an impressive 45.5% from behind the arc and continues to improve on a nightly basis. The superstar playmaker could quickly become one of the top prospects in next years' draft should he continue playing at a high level, as the former SEC player of the week has played a crucial role in the Tide's 11-3 start over the first 14 matchups.
Philon has earned himself yet another accolade this season, as the star officially finds himself among the top 25 players in college basketball.
