Alabama defensive lineman Keon Keeley has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal, per On3's Pete Nakos.
Keeley, a former five-star recruit from the 2023 class, is an elite playmaker and will add a major boost to any program he ultimately chooses to sign with. The 6'5", 282 pound sophomore recorded three sacks on the Crimson Tide defensive line in 2025, as Alabama will now turn elsewhere in hopes of replacing Keeley's production.

Keeley will more than likely draw interest from numerous programs around the country following his departure from Tuscaloosa, as the future star had an extremely promising season throughout his third year at Alabama.
The former coveted prospect was the No. 2 overall recruit and the No. 1 edge rusher from the 2023 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. The Florida native tallied career-high's across the board during the 2025 campaign, as Keeley thrived with an increased workload following injuries to key defensive players such as LT Overton and Tim Keenan lll.
Keeley is just one of many players to enter the transfer portal this weekend, as the Crimson Tide will more than likely begin to ramp up their aggression in the portal as key playmakers on both sides of the football continue to leave Tuscaloosa.
