Von Miller's not done yet.
The 36-year-old pass rusher recorded one sack in the Washington Commanders' 24-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, finishing his 2025 season with nine sacks.
That ninth sack earned Miller a $500,000 bonus, and he moved into the top ten on the NFL's all-time sack list with 138.5 career sacks. Miller is now tied with former teammate DeMarcus Ware for the ninth-most sacks in NFL history, and he doesn't want to retire before passing the fellow Super Bowl 50 champion.

"I can't walk away from the game until I pass DeMarcus," Miller recalled telling the Commanders this summer, via WUSA-TV's John Doran. "I tied him. I definitely will be back next year."
Miller hopes to re-sign with Washington, but he acknowledged that he the decision might not be his to make at this stage of his career.
"I want to be a Commander," Miller said. "I'll be 37 years old, I'm not in a position to say where I wanna go and what I wanna do, [but] whoever wants me, I [will] put my pads up and I'll show up and I'll be there. I would love to be a Commander here."
Miller holds the Denver Broncos' franchise record with 110.5 sacks. He overlapped with Ware in Denver from 2014-2016. Miller has spent time with three other NFL teams since leaving the Broncos in 2021, and he won a second Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.

Miller discussed a potential reunion with Denver general manager George Paton during the 2025 offseason, but the Broncos did not have room on the roster for his position. Miller is now scheduled to become a free agent again in March.
